Geisinger is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with an interest in practicing 100% Pulmonary Medicine, to join our welcoming practice in Wilkes-Barre, PA.

The role emphasizes outpatient consultations with a 60-minute slot for new patients and 30-minute follow-ups. You will work alongside a team of attendings and APs in a busy pulmonary specialty, with a competitive compensation package and a $10k start incentive.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required for PA or NP credentials.
• Outpatient pulmonary experience desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient pulmonology consultations.
• Manage COPD, asthma, ILD, lung cancer, and post-COVID cases.
• Schedule: 60-minute initial visits, 30-minute follow-ups.

Job Duties

At a Glance:

• Comprehensive specialty training provided to be successful
• Provider skill mix: 5 attendings and 3 APs
• Provider primarily performs outpatient consultations
• See general pulmonary cases such as COPD, asthma, interstitial lung disease, lung cancer and post COVID complications
• Outpatient appointments are 60 minutes for new patients and 30 minutes for follow up visits
• Competitive compensation plus $10k start incentive
