Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with an interest in practicing 100% Pulmonary Medicine, to join our welcoming practice in Wilkes-Barre, PA.

Comprehensive outpatient pulmonary consultations are provided, with a 60-minute slot for new patients and 30 minutes for follow-ups. The position supports collaboration with 5 attendings and 3 APs in a busy, patient‑centered team.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree-Physician Assistant is required.
• Master's Degree-Nurse Practitioner is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient pulmonary consultations.
• Collaborate with a team of attendings and APs.
• Manage COPD, asthma, interstitial lung disease, lung cancer and post-COVID conditions.
• Schedule: 60 minutes for new patients and 30 minutes for follow-ups.
• Practice 100% Pulmonary Medicine in an outpatient setting.

• Provider primarily performs outpatient consultations
• See general pulmonary cases such as COPD, asthma, interstitial lung disease, lung cancer and post COVID complications
• Outpatient appointments are 60 minutes for new patients and 30 minutes for follow up visits
