Job summary

A leading healthcare organization in Pennsylvania is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their Pulmonary Medicine team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care for a variety of pulmonary conditions in a collaborative environment, benefiting from excellent training and generous benefits starting day one, including a $10,000 start incentive.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in relevant field is required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform outpatient consultations and occasionally inpatient consultations.
  • Manage general pulmonary cases such as COPD, asthma, and lung cancer.
  • Conduct initial assessments and follow-up visits within specified timeframes.

Job Summary Geisinger is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with an interest in practicing 100% Pulmonary Medicine, to join our welcoming practice in Wilkes-Barre, PA.
Job Duties

At a Glance:

  • Comprehensive specialty training provided to be successful
  • Provider skill mix: 5 attendings and 3 APs
  • Provider primarily performs outpatient consultations and occasionally inpatient consultations
  • See general pulmonary cases such as COPD, asthma, interstitial lung disease, lung cancer and post COVID complications
  • Outpatient appointments are 60 minutes for new patients and 30 minutes for follow up visits
  • Competitive compensation plus $10k start incentive
