Hancock Regional Hospital in Indiana is seeking a Medical Assistant/clinical support staff to input patient histories and vital information into EMR, prepare exam rooms, and assist providers during procedures.

The role includes clerical duties, data entry into scheduling and billing systems, and ensuring patient confidentiality in a fast-paced clinic environment. Prior EMR experience and proficiency with Office tools are preferred.

Qualifications

• Certification to work in a clinical role required; LPN or MA credentials preferred.
• Three to five years of recent experience in a medical practice.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EMR systems.

Responsabilités

• Assist with patient flow and room setup; collect histories.
• Verify prescriptions with physician orders.
• Maintain infection control; clean rooms between visits.
• Enter patient data into EMR and schedule appointments.
• Support billing and scheduling tasks as assigned.
