Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina, seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in alignment with department standards. You will collaborate with providers and the care team to ensure exceptional patient experiences and outcomes.

The role requires 1+ year of RN experience, ADN or BSN preferred, and active NC RN licensure (eNLC may apply). A sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates; BSN preferred and BLS required.

Qualifications

• One year of RN experience
• Hospital nursing experience (preferred)
• Associate degree in nursing (ADN)
• Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN)
• Current licensure as registered nurse with North Carolina Board of Nursing; eNLC may apply
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification
• National Certification in area of specialty (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and each shift; report changes promptly.
• Administer medications, monitor response, document care in medical record.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment, meds and follow-up; explain terms clearly.
