Job summary

Qualifications

• Practical or Vocational Nursing Diploma.
• Current/active license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Georgia.
• BLS card from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross prior to hire date.

Responsibilities

• The LPN recognizes the patient's needs and symptoms in advance and provides care for the patient under the physician's direction.
• Preparing patients for exams, assisting during treatments, coordination of tests and follow-up care and recording treatment in medical records.
• Helps with patient and family education.
• Demonstrates competency and skills to serve patients of all ages.
