The role integrates high‑volume patient care with academic leadership, mentorship, and strategic growth, while fostering collaboration across divisions and affiliated centers.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification/eligibility in Cardiovascular Disease and specialized fellowship in Pulmonary Hypertension.
• Minnesota Medical License.
• Authorization to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Excellence: provide top-tier care to patients with complex PH and right heart failure.
• Academic & Research Leadership: lead or collaborate on clinical trials and translational studies.
• Strategic Growth: expand regional access to PH care and support the university's mission.
• Education: mentor fellows, residents, and medical students.
• Academic Track: eligible for faculty appointment at Assistant, Associate or Full Professor rank.
• Clinical Skill: demonstrate expertise in PH management and multidisciplinary care.
• Research Focus: activity in scholarly work, trials, or funded research.
