Job summary

Temple Health – Temple University Health System is seeking a Cardio-Pulmonary Technologist responsible for comprehensive pulmonary function testing and related procedures. The role includes spirometry, lung volumes, diffusion capacity, and arterial puncture, with duties in exercise testing and invasive procedure assistance.

The candidate should have an Associate degree in AMA-approved respiratory care or pulmonary function technology and at least 1 year of relevant experience, including blood

Qualifications

• Associates degree in AMA-approved respiratory care or pulmonary function technology (Required)
• 1 year of experience in pulmonary function testing, arterial blood collection, bronchoscopy assistance, and blood gas analysis (Required)

Responsibilities

• Perform routine pulmonary function testing (spirometry, lung volumes, diffusion capacity, airway resistance, thoracic gas volume, respiratory muscle strength, arterial puncture).
• Perform routine exercise studies such as O2 titration and 6 minute walk, invasive deadspace measurement, resting energy expenditure.
• Assist with invasive procedures.
