Job summary

Loyola Medicine, a member of Trinity Health, is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner II to provide diagnostic pulmonary function procedures, bronchoscopy support, and related monitoring in a collaborative team.

Under supervision, you will perform sweat chloride testing, participate in conscious sedation setups, and assist with neo/peds event records. IL licensure and RRT are required; CPFT/RPFT preferred; bilingual in Spanish is highly desired.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in respiratory care required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Current IL state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist required
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required
• CPR required
• ACLS preferred
• PALS preferred
• Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist (CPFT) required within 6 months of hire
• Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RPFT) preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish highly desired

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic pulmonary function procedures
• Bronchoscopy assist, conscious sedation, setup and interpretation of neo/peds event records

What you’ll do:

Under the general supervision of the Manager of Respiratory Care Services, and the direct supervision of the Coordinator of Pulmonary Laboratories, provides diagnostic pulmonary function procedures, bronchoscopy assist, conscious sedation, setup and interpretation of neo/peds event records, sweat chloride testing, and functions as a Respiratory Care Practitioner II as needed.

Pay Range: $30.99 - $50.71 per hour. Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
