Job summary

Loyola Medicine, part of Loyola University Health System, is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for the Night Shift in a Level I Trauma Center in Illinois. You will deliver respiratory care to adults, pediatrics, and neonates, manage ventilators, and support a high-performing team in a tertiary care setting.

The role offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus for full-time night shift, competitive shift differentials, and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in respiratory care is required.
• Illinois RT license or eligibility within 6 months of hire.
• CRT (NBRC) and BLS (AHA) are required.
• NRP and PALS within 90 days (effective July 1, 2025).
• ACLS and/or NPS/ACCS credentials preferred.

What You’ll Do

As a Respiratory Therapist with Loyola, you will:

Required Qualifications:

• Associate degree in respiratory care; Bachelor's preferred
• 3 years of previous job-related experience
• CPR/BLS - American Heart Association
• Current IL state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) through NBRC

Compensation:

Respiratory Therapist II Pay Range: $36.50 - $48.84 per hour

Respiratory Therapist III Pay Range: $36.50 - $50.71 per hour

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
