Job summary

Froedtert Health is seeking a Respiratory Care professional to perform pulmonary function and cardiopulmonary exercise testing for inpatients and outpatients at our Milwaukee facility. responsibilities include equipment calibration, data management, test administration and reporting, as well as charge entry and supply management.

The role requires Wisconsin RCP licensure, NBRC RRT, CPFT or RPFT within 12 months, and BLS within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from a CoARC accredited Respiratory Care program is required.
• Current State of Wisconsin License as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) is required.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required; CPFT or RPFT within 12 months.
• American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers within 30 days of hire.
• One year of previous experience in a pulmonary function laboratory preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform pulmonary function and cardiopulmonary exercise testing for inpatients and outpatients.
• Calibrate and perform preventive maintenance on all laboratory equipment.
• Administer tests, manage data and generate reports.
• Handle charge entry and supply management; perform other duties as assigned.
