Job summary

Froedtert & MCW seeks a Respiratory Care Practitioner to perform pulmonary function and cardiopulmonary exercise testing for inpatients and outpatients. Responsibilities include equipment calibration, test administration, data management, and report generation.

Requirements include an associate degree from a CoARC-accredited program, a Wisconsin RCP license, NBRC RRT credential (CPFT or RPFT within 1 year), and BLS within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from a CoARC accredited Respiratory Care program is required.
• One year of previous experience in a pulmonary function laboratory is preferred.
• Current State of Wisconsin License as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) is required.
• Active NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• CPFT or RPFT credential from NBRC required within one year of hire or transfer.
• AHA Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform pulmonary function and cardiopulmonary exercise testing for inpatients and outpatients.
• Calibrate and perform preventative maintenance on all laboratory equipment.
• Administer pulmonary function tests and manage test data and reports.
• Handle charge entry and supply management.
• Execute other duties as assigned.
