Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University is accepting applications for a full-time Pulmonologist at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, employed by the Division of Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care Medicine and the Jane & Leonard Korman Respiratory Institute of Thomas Jefferson and National Jewish Health.

We seek a Pulmonologist with a focus on Advanced Lung Diseases to join our growing academic program, which currently includes 35 faculty engaged in patient care, NIH-funded research, clinical trials, and education.

The successful candidate will be based at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. Responsibilities include engaging in scholarly activities and teaching pulmonary and critical care fellows, residents, and medical students.

Qualifications:
  • Completion of an Internal Medicine residency program and Pulmonary/Critical Care fellowship.
  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.
  • Proven record of excellent clinical care, academic credentials for an appointment in the Department of Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care Medicine, and experience in clinical education and scholarship.
  • Ability to obtain a medical license in Pennsylvania prior to start date.
