Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited respiratory care program with an associate degree.
• Typically requires 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Strong problem-solving, organization and communication skills.
• Proficient with electronic medical records and computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs pulmonary diagnostic testing including spirometry, lung volumes, DLCO, bronchial provocation and inhaled medications per provider order.
• Demonstrates effective communication and teamwork.
• Promotes a culture of safety by recognizing and addressing safety issues and reporting events.
• Provides age-appropriate patient care across the life span and interprets data to meet patient needs.
