MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City, IA, seeks a Pulmonary Critical Care physician for an inpatient/outpatient role. Join a team of 2 Pulmonary Critical Care physicians and 2 Intensivists in a teaching environment with residents and medical students.

The practice serves a 14‑county network within a level III trauma center, offering ICU care, outpatient clinics, and strong community integration. Requires board certification or eligibility and Iowa licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a medical/osteopathic medical school is required.
• Demonstrated residency training and board eligibility or certification.
• Must obtain Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa medical staff privileges.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Iowa physician licensure plus DEA certificate.

Responsibilities

• Provide pulmonary/critical care in inpatient ICU and outpatient settings.
• Teach Internal Medicine and Family Medicine residents and medical students.
• Collaborate with 2 Pulmonary Critical Care physicians and 2 Intensivists.
