Job summary

MercyOne North Iowa Pulmonary Critical Care is recruiting pulmonary/critical care physicians to join an expanding team in Mason City, IA. The position supports both inpatient and outpatient services with an 18-bed ICU and teaching opportunities for Internal Medicine and Family Medicine residents and medical students.

The successful candidate will have BC/BE status within 3 years of eligibility, and must obtain Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa privileges.

Qualifications

• BC/BE must be board certified within 3 years of becoming eligible.
• Demonstrated competency as a physician by completion of an appropriate residency program.
• Must be able to obtain Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa medical staff privileges.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient pulmonary/critical care.
• Collaborate with ICU team to manage 18-bed ICU.
• Teach Internal Medicine and Family Medicine residents and medical students.
• Support outreach for pulmonary services across a 14-county network.
