Job summary

CHI St. Alexius Health in Bismarck, North Dakota seeks a Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine physician to join a collaborative multispecialty team delivering comprehensive pulmonary and critical care services in clinic and hospital settings.

You will perform advanced pulmonary procedures, participate in care of critically ill patients in a 14-bed ICU, and collaborate with hospitalists, respiratory therapists, and other specialists. UND affiliation may be included.

Qualifications

• Fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine is required.
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine is required.
• ND medical license or eligibility is required.
• ND DEA registration or eligibility is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient pulmonary services through an established clinic practice
• Deliver inpatient pulmonary and critical care services at CHI St. Alexius
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with pulmonary and critical care conditions
• Care for critically ill patients within a 14-bed closed ICU
• Perform bronchoscopy, EBUS, PFT interpretation and related procedures
• Collaborate with hospitalists, respiratory therapists, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary specialists
• Utilize two bronchoscopy/endoscopy suites for advanced care
• Academic affiliation with UND School of Medicine & Health Services
• Contribute to a culture of clinical excellence and patient-centered care

Education

Fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine
