Job summary

Harlingen Medical Center in Harlingen, TX seeks a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pulmonary & Critical Care Physician to join a growing service line with a balanced mix of ICU coverage and pulmonary medicine in a community hospital setting.

The role is hospital-employed (or aligned private practice, as applicable) with a full-time schedule, dayshift, and opportunities for sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Fellowship training in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary/Critical Care.
• Eligible for or current Texas medical license.
• DEA license or eligibility.
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient critical care services, including ICU coverage.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of pulmonary conditions.
• Perform pulmonary and critical care procedures consistent with training.
• Collaborate closely with hospitalists, surgeons, emergency medicine, and specialty teams.
• Participate in call rotation as assigned.
• Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation and compliance with hospital policies and quality standards.
