Job summary

Harlingen Medical Center in Harlingen, TX is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurologist to join a growing neurology service. This role offers a mix of inpatient consults and outpatient neurology with strong referral support.

You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat neurological conditions, collaborate with emergency medicine, hospitalists, and specialty providers, and participate in call coverage. A Texas medical license and DEA are required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
• Eligible for or current Texas medical license.
• DEA license or eligibility.
• Strong clinical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of neurological conditions
• Provide inpatient consult services and outpatient clinic care
• Collaborate with emergency medicine, hospitalists, and specialty providers
• Participate in call coverage as assigned
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
• Comply with hospital quality, safety, and regulatory standards
