Job Juncture is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine physician to join a dynamic medical team in Dothan, Alabama. The role involves high-acuity practice, delivering comprehensive pulmonary and critical care services to a diverse patient population in the Wiregrass region.

Responsibilities include ICU management, complex pulmonary care, and procedures like bronchoscopy, with opportunities for leadership, teaching, and academic involvement.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified/Eligible in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Alabama.
• Strong clinical and procedural skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care.

Responsibilities

• Manage critically ill patients in the ICU setting.
• Evaluate and treat complex pulmonary disorders.
• Address respiratory failure, COPD, asthma, pulmonary hypertension, pneumonia.
• Conduct ICU consultations and collaborate with hospitalists and specialists.
• Provide evaluations and follow-up care in the pulmonary clinic.
• Perform bronchoscopy and other critical care procedures.
• Engage in quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives.
• Mentor residents and medical students.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• Estimated Compensation Range: $350,000 – $500,000+ annually, based on experience and training
