Qualifications

• Completion of an Associate's degree.
• Minimum two years of relevant research experience; DOCR North Carolina state approved Clinical Research Apprenticeship may substitute for one year.
• Can easily use computing software and web based applications (e.g., Microsoft Office products and internet browsers).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage pulmonary and critical care clinical research studies.
• Recruit, screen, consent, enroll, and retain research participants.
• Schedule and conduct study visits while ensuring protocol compliance.
• Collect, enter, review, and maintain research data and study documentation.
• Process, track, and maintain human biospecimens and laboratory records.
• Prepare and submit IRB applications, amendments, and regulatory documents.
• Support sponsor communications, monitoring visits, audits, and study closeout activities.
• Utilize OnCore, REDCap, and Epic/Maestro Care to manage study activities.
• Collaborate with investigators and research teams to support grants, presentations, and publications.
• Ensure compliance with GCP, FDA regulations, institutional policies, and human subject protections.
