Job summary

Atrium Health's Pulmonology Clinic seeks a data coordinator to support clinical studies. Under general supervision, you will collect data, assist with subject recruitment, and coordinate study activities.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and experience in medical or research settings. Registered Record Administrator preferred. Schedule Monday through Friday 8am-5pm, 40 hours per week; pay range $24.10-$36.15 per hour.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in medical or research setting.

Responsibilities

• Assists principal investigator and health professionals in data collection and study coordination.
• Performs technical procedures on clinical subjects under PI direction.
• Aids in recruitment of patients and tracks referrals from various sources.
• Maintains patient records and charts to determine continued eligibility.
• Obtains and interprets data from medical records to understand patient conditions.
• Designs brochures, forms and reports; creates study graphs and presentations.
• May supervise other personnel and assist with data collection form development.
• Collaborates with faculty, sponsorships, and health professionals involved in the study.
