Riverwalk Post Acute is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to perform respiratory therapy, management, rehabilitation, diagnostic evaluation, and direct patient care across the pulmonary system.

You will follow supervisor schedules, adhere to policies, assess patients, document data, plan outcomes, and implement interventions. Must hold an RC practitioner license, CPR/BLS and ACLS, and have an associate degree.

Qualifications

• Must possess an associate degree from an accredited school.
• Graduate of a respiratory care program.
• Bachelor of Science in health care preferred.
• Minimum of one year respiratory experience in an acute and/or subacute unit preferred.

Responsabilités

• Receive and follow schedule/instructions from supervisor and policies.
• Adheres to facility policies and procedures.
• Performs focused interview to identify patient needs.
• Assess signs and symptoms in patient condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets health data and documents diagnoses.
• Plans outcomes of care for assigned patients.
• Performs interventions per plan and hospital policies.
• Adheres to safety and infection control procedures.
• Reports changes in respiratory status to supervisor, nurse, and physician as needed.
• Maintains good working rapport with other departments.
• Maintains confidentiality of resident care information.
