Job summary

St. Mary’s Medical Center is seeking a Per Diem RN for the Pulmonary Department.

The RN plans, coordinates, and monitors care with nursing staff and other health care professionals, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to standards of care to meet outcomes within appropriate length of stay. Education requires graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current RN licensure in West Virginia or a valid compact-state license.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.
• Current licensure as an RN in West Virginia or a valid compact-state nurse license.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor patient care with nursing staff and other health care professionals.
• Ensure effective use of resources and maintain established standards of care to meet outcomes within an appropriate length of stay.
• Justify and document variations based on individual patient needs.
• Assist with management needs of the Nursing Unit.
