Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Pulmonary Medicine adult ambulatory practice in Minnesota. The RN will coordinate direct patient care, educate patients and families, and support transitions of care within a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires an RN license with ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA recognition and at least 1 year of RN experience. ACLS and EKG experience are preferred, with opportunities for professional development and leadership.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program recognized by ACEN, CCNE, or NLN CNEA.
• One year RN experience required.
• Current RN license by applicable state requirements.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) must be valid for 90 days post start date.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide direct nursing care and patient education.
• Support transitions of care and maintain communication with the care team.
• Lead nursing practice within Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model.
• Demonstrate strong leadership and critical thinking in daily rounds and procedures.
