Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Minnesota seeks a Registered Nurse for the Pulmonary Medicine adult ambulatory practice. The RN coordinates nursing care, provides direct patient care, educates patients and families, and supports transitions of care within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model.

This full-time role involves leadership, teaching, and quality improvement activities, with regular daytime hours, no weekend requirements, and alignment to Mayo Clinic standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program recognized by ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA.
• One year RN experience required.
• ACLS and EKG experience preferred.
• Additional state licensure and/or specialty certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care including direct patient care and education.
• Support transitions of care and patient education across settings.
• Lead and mentor teams; participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model and standards.
• Respond to shifts and maintain high-quality patient care.
