Northern Pines Rehabilitation and Nursing in Cut Bank, MT is seeking a Pulmonary Care Nurse to join our Skilled Nursing Facility team. You will plan, implement, and assess treatment plans for patients with respiratory illnesses, conduct interviews, monitor progress, and collaborate with physicians and respiratory therapists.

Responsibilities include administering medications, educating patients and families, and managing ventilator/tracheostomy cases.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program.
• Must be a licensed RN.

Responsabilités

• Plan, implement and assess treatment plans for patients with respiratory illnesses.
• Conduct patient interviews/assessments.
• Monitor patients' progress towards goals.
• Carry out diagnostic testing procedures.
• Assist and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
• Manage and administer medications.
• Educate patients and families on medications and breathing treatments.
• Administer treatments including Oxygen Therapy and breathing exercises.
• Advise patients on lifestyle changes to alleviate symptoms.
• Educate patients on preventing respiratory illnesses.
• Assess and manage ventilator and tracheostomy patients.
