Job summary

Nimbus Health Alexandria is seeking a compassionate APP to join our pulmonary team, delivering comprehensive care for acute and chronic pulmonary conditions, including assessments, diagnoses, and management in a patient-centered setting.

You will perform pulmonary-focused care with interpretation of chest X-rays, CTs, and PFTs, emphasize preventive care, collaborate with pulmonologists and Nimbus at Home team, ensuring HIPAA-compliant documentation and high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Licensed Advanced Practice Provider with current board certification.
• 2+ years’ experience preferred in pulmonary, critical care, or cardiology.
• Sleep medicine knowledge is a plus.
• Comfortable in fast-paced, high-volume healthcare settings.
• Strong clinical judgment, decision-making, and documentation skills.
• Clear, empathetic communicator who thrives in team-based environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive care including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of pulmonary conditions.
• Specialize in pulmonary medicine with interpretation of chest X-rays, CTs, and PFTs.
• Emphasize preventive care and chronic disease management with patient education.
• Initiate treatment plans, monitor responses, and adjust therapies as needed.
• Collaborate with referring physicians and Nimbus physicians for continuity of care.
• Foster relationships with local providers to expand referrals.
• Maintain accurate documentation aligned with regulatory requirements and HIPAA.
