Job summary

The Pulmonary Advanced Practice Provider (APP) at MultiCare Health System delivers specialty care to adult patients with chronic respiratory conditions in outpatient clinics. Working with a supervising physician, you’ll provide evaluation, education, and management for conditions such as COPD, asthma, and interstitial lung disease.

You will rotate between Downtown and Valley locations in Spokane, WA, with scheduling negotiable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Advanced Nursing or Physician Assistant program.
• National board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (Adult-Gerontology Acute Care, Adult or Family) or PA-C.
• Unrestricted nursing or PA license in Washington State.
• DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage adult patients with pulmonary conditions in outpatient clinic settings.
• Collaborate with supervising physicians, primary care providers, and specialists.
• Document accurately and timely in the electronic health record.
• Coordinate follow-up imaging, labs, and pulmonary function testing.
• Educate patients and families on disease processes, medications, and lifestyle management.
