Job Duties:

Geisinger, a national leader in healthcare innovation and technology, is seeking a BC/BE Pulmonary/Critical Care trained physician for an exciting opportunity at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton, Pennsylvania. There is a strong Sleep presence for those boarded in Sleep. Leadership opportunities with respiratory therapy.

At a Glance:

  • Work 2 weeks of outpatient pulmonary clinic with procedures, 1 week of inpatient pulmonary consult service, and 1 week of ICU/month
  • Navigational Bronchoscopy and EBUS available
  • Diverse patient population with COPD, asthma, lung cancer, pulmonary hypertension, sarcoidosis, interstitial lung disease, among other pulmonary diseases
  • Be an instrumental part of teaching in our Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep fellowships, residency programs and our medical school
  • Get involved with scholarly activities, interdisciplinary programs, committees and research
  • Opportunity for advancement into leadership roles with respiratory therapy and bronchoscopy
