Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Minnesota seeks a registered nurse to coordinate care in the Pulmonary Medicine ambulatory practice. The RN will deliver direct patient care, educate patients and families, and support transitions of care across the continuum.

The role requires an RN license, BLS, and ACLS/EKG experience is preferred. Internal applicants may be asked for performance appraisals. Full-time schedule, day shifts, 64 hours per pay period.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program recognized by ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA.
• One year of RN experience required.
• Entry-level RN with ADN requiring BSN within five years of start date.
• ADN RN prior to 1 April 2020 must provide proof of BSN.
• 1 year RN experience required; leadership and communication valued.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care, including direct patient care and family education.
• Support transitions of care and patient education across the continuum.
• Lead, mentor, and contribute to quality improvement efforts.
• Ensure compliance with nursing standards of practice and licensure requirements.
