SUMMARYPerforms tasks associated with the Pull Chain position in the Lamination Plant. Complies with all company safety rules and regulations while demonstrating the ability to work as part of the production team by communicating effectively and working within the parameters established by the Production Supervisor. The Pull Chain employee is responsible for safely pulling, sorting, stacking, and preparing laminated beam products while maintaining product quality and efficient production flow.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESIncludes but is not limited to the following:Pull and sort laminated beam products from the production line.Stack beams according to production specifications, ensuring proper size, length, and product type.Maintain stable, uniform stacks that meet company quality standards.Ensure products are properly aligned and prepared for the next stage of production or shipping.Assist in maintaining continuous production flow by communicating with fellow team members.Work safely around conveyors, production equipment, forklifts, and moving materials.Identify and report product defects or quality concerns immediately.Report equipment malfunctions, maintenance concerns, or unsafe conditions immediately.Follow all Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures applicable to assigned job duties.Perform housekeeping duties during downtime, including cleaning work areas and assisting with minor maintenance as directed.Assist with staging materials and preparing finished products for forklift removal.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor.QUALIFICATIONSIncludes but is not limited to the following:Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.Demonstrate a strong commitment to teamwork and production efficiency.Work independently with limited supervision when required.Promote and support a safe work environment.Willingness to work overtime, alternate shifts, and weekends as business needs require.
