Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years old with a minimum of two years of driving experience.
• Valid and current driver’s license.
• Ability to comply with any specialized regulatory or licensing requirements, as determined by geographic location and/or work assignment.
• Must meet and maintain the FedEx Office Motor Vehicle Requirements, to be audited annually.
• For new hires, must meet all FedEx Office employment qualifications in force at time of hiring.
• For current FedEx Office team members, must meet hiring criteria for the position and transfer requirements as outlined in the Team Member Handbook.

Responsibilities

• Drive the company vehicle to perform pick-up/delivery service for FedEx Office stores and for customers.
• Pick up duties include driving to customer sites or stores and collecting materials and supplies.
• Deliver finished photocopy orders to customers or stores and distribute marketing materials.
• Receive daily route information from a centralized dispatcher via a company-provided phone.
• Operate the vehicle in compliance with motor vehicle regulations, policy, and insurance guidelines.
• Maintain vehicle upkeep and conduct regular servicing and cleaning.
• Keep pick-up/delivery and vehicle maintenance logs up to date.
• Adhere to FedEx Office safety policies and guidelines; follow accident procedures and traffic laws.
• Provide quality service and professional interactions with customers, handling questions and resolving issues.
• Perform additional duties within the store during non-delivery times; assist as needed.
