The Publishing Quality Analyst improves the quality of QA’s learning experience by defining and applying quality standards across digital learning content.

The team focuses on reviewing materials to identify quality, UX, and functionality issues, working collaboratively with content, learning design, and technology teams to resolve issues and improve content both ahead of publication and through ongoing course maintenance.

Alongside course‑by‑course reviews, the team analyzes quality data to identify trends and outliers, using these insights to improve processes and support the delivery of usable, accessible, and high‑quality learning experiences.

  • Validating content against intended learner personas, user stories, and learner journeys.
  • Assess AI‑assisted outputs for suitability, compliance, and alignment with quality standards and learner experience.
  • Identify, log, and escalation quality issues, risks, and improvement opportunities via a Change Log, providing clear issue details and experiential feedback to support effective resolution.
  • Work across a range of content platforms (QA Platform, Canvas, Miro), editing and maintaining content directly within each system.
  • Analyse quality review data to identify trends and outliers, reporting insights and working with colleagues to improve instructional approaches and techniques.
  • Ensure accessibility and inclusivity are upheld as quality standards, identifying gaps and supporting teams to address accessibility‑related issues.
  • Uphold third‑party content, copyright, and AI usage policies, ensuring they are applied correctly and responsibly within published content.
  • Respond to content and platform queries.
  • Use online systems and tools to manage workflows, track issues, and support delivery to agreed deadlines.
  • Liaise with Production team members to ensure publication deadlines are met.
  • Supporting the Learning Technologists in maintaining high‑quality digital content and platforms.
  • Develop and issue Credly badges.
  • Ad hoc proofing/publishing tasks.
