Job Summary:

Are you looking to launch your career in mechanical, electrical, fabrication, hydraulics, or heavy equipment? Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions is seeking energetic and proactive individuals to join our team as Equipment Technicians. This role offers growth potential and can lead to future positions in field tech, training specialists, or sales.

We are expanding our Certified Rebuild & Refurb department and are seeking a new team member with expertise in troubleshooting, repairing, rebuilding, and maintaining the mechanical aspects of excavator attachment tools and components. Your interest and skills in hydraulics, mechanics, or related fields, along with your ability to analyze and document equipment conditions, will make you a perfect fit for our technical rebuild department.

Do you have what we’re looking for?

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in hydraulic equipment, heavy equipment, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in hydraulics, assembly, inspection, refurbishment, and repair.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain hydraulic equipment following defined specifications.
  • Accurate analysis and documentation of machinery conditions for rebuild and refurbishment programs.
  • Support on maintenance, specifications, and technical support for the Rammer product line.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Knowledge of precision measuring tools, including micrometers, for ensuring accuracy.
  • Ability to read dimensional drawings and ensure proper assembly/disassembly of hydraulic components.
  • Effective communication and professionalism in interactions with colleagues.
  • Willingness to perform additional duties as required.
  • Compliance with SRP safety policies and applicable regulations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
