Penguin Random House is seeking a Publicist focused on Children’s and Licensing titles to join the DK U.S. team. You will strategize and execute PR campaigns for children’s books, manage author care, and build media relationships on national, online, podcast, and local levels.
Reporting to the Publicity Manager of DK U.S., you’ll coordinate events, write press materials, and collaborate with DK US/UK teams. This hybrid role requires travel to festivals and conventions 1–2 times per year.

The DK publicity department is currently seeking a Publicistwith a focus on Children’s and Licensing titles to join the DK U.S. team. The growing list of Children's titles includes picture books, chapter books, middle grade and graphic novels and the robust Licensing publishing program includesLEGO, Disney, Minecraft, Marvel, StarWars, among others.
The ideal candidate will have experience strategizing on and executing PR campaigns for Children’s and Licensing titles, an established network of national broadcast, print, and online media contacts, and a desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This position will report to the Publicity Manager of DK U.S.

The salary for this position is $66,500.00. All positions are currently eligible for an annual profit award or bonus, subject to company results.
This is a hybrid position with in-office responsibilities. We will consider candidates who can work from a commutable distance to our offices at 1745 Broadway, which includes the tri-state area (NJ, CT, & PA).
