MSA Professional Services, Inc. in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Project Manager Engineering for Civil/Public Works projects. You will manage client relationships, plan and budget projects, and design public works infrastructure while mentoring staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related) required.
• 5+ years of prior experience within the Public Works market serving multiple clients required.
• PE license strongly preferred.
• Experience managing multiple projects and client needs required.
• Knowledge of Iowa regulations and funding/grants for municipalities preferred.
• U.S. work authorization without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Client relations including attendance at client meetings and interaction with existing and new clients
• Project management including project planning, scoping, budgeting and QA/QC
• Design of public works infrastructure projects
• Assist with mentoring junior engineering staff
• Preparation of plans, details, specifications, and bidding documents
• Preparation of technical reports and regulatory permits for projects
• Administration of construction on public works infrastructure projects
