Job description

Public Works/Parks Maintenance/Equipment Operator

Saint Michael (Pop 22,000) is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Public Works/Parks Maintenance/Equipment Operator. This position will involve concrete, blacktop, and all aspects of street repair, parks maintenance, manual labor, operation of heavy and light street equipment, snowplowing, etc.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Good driving record.
• Class B CDL driver’s license with air brake.
• Ability to obtain a Class A Commercial Driver’s License with tanker endorsement within 6 months of hire.

Preferred Experience

Concrete forming/pouring/finishing, blacktop paving, equipment operation and maintenance, fabrication, carpentry, and snowplowing.

Pay Range

The pay range for this position is $32.44/hour to $39.55/hour, with a starting wage of $32.44 to $35.99 dependent on qualifications.
