This non-exempt position is responsible for care and maintaining turf areas at Town owned properties, parks and medians as well as general landscaping duties.

Desired start date:05/19/2024 &estimated end-of-season date:09/19/2025

  • Mows, trims, edges, thatches, rakes, sweeps, and fertilizes.
  • Performs general landscaping duties.
  • Operates truck with trailer.
  • Performs trash and recycling operations.
  • Cares for and maintains turf work equipment.
  • Communicates in a timely and professional manner with citizens, visitors, and Town of Frisco staff.
  • Adheres to all Town of Frisco and Public Works policies and procedures; including but not limited to safety and maintaining grooming and uniform standards.
  • Works in a team-based environment supporting the Public Works Department, the Town of Frisco, and the initiatives of the Director and Managers.
  • Assists in all other aspects of grounds operations as necessary.
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned by management.

Education:GED or High School Diploma

Licenses, Certifications or Accreditations:

  • Valid Colorado driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • CPR/AED & First Aid Certification (Provided by the Town)

Previous Work Experience:

  • 1 year landscaping, operation of turf equipment, irrigation experience and truck and trailer operation, and ball field preparation all preferred.

Language Ability:Must be able to communicate fluently in English

Other:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be able to prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Able to perform manual labor
  • Must be able to work from 7:00am to 3:30pm
