Job Opportunity: Seasonal Crew Member - City of Bothell

Hit the streets with the City of Bothell! We're hiring seasonal crew members for our Street Division to help with vegetation control, roadside maintenance, street repairs, and more—apply now!

Note: Anticipated to start in June 2025. This is a temporary full-time position, funded for four (4) months from hire. It is a non-represented and non-benefited position.

What will you do in this position?
  • Perform vegetation control using a basic understanding of local trees, shrubs, and noxious weeds.
  • Maintain right of ways in roadside settings to ensure clear sight distances and aesthetic appeal; perform mowing, line trimming, weeding, mulching, and garbage pickup.
  • Assist with general and preventative street maintenance, including asphalt and concrete repairs.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications for success:
  • Be 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license at the time of appointment.
  • Communicate effectively across diverse channels.
  • Build collaborative relationships and work effectively in teams.
  • Prioritize tasks and manage demands efficiently.
  • Be open to new ideas and perspectives.
  • Take responsibility for achieving goals and delivering quality results.
