Town of Parker is seeking a Maintenance Worker to care for parks, cemetery, streets, alleys, and landscaped areas around Town facilities and rights-of-way. The role involves equipment operation, irrigation, trash control, and basic construction tasks under supervision.

The position requires two years of maintenance experience, a valid Arizona driver’s license, and the ability to pass background checks, fingerprint clearance, and a drug test. Outdoor work in all weather is expected.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience in general maintenance work.
• A valid Arizona driver’s license at time of appointment and must be maintained throughout employment; CDL preferred.
• Must pass extensive background check and obtain fingerprint clearance card.
• Must pass a drug test.

Responsabilités

• Maintain parks, cemetery, streets, alleys, and landscaped areas around Town buildings and rights‑of‑way.
• Prune trees, trim shrubs, mow, edge, trash and weed control; irrigation, fencing, and base/plate work; assist with construction tasks.
• Operate equipment and perform routine maintenance on tools and vehicles; assist with street repairs and drainage work.
