City of Medina - Civil Service Commission is seeking a park maintenance worker to perform a variety of semi-skilled construction, landscape, and groundskeeping tasks in City parks and facilities.

The role supports equipment operators, maintains athletic fields, playgrounds, fences, and surfaces, and may assist in snow removal. Must have physical ability and valid Ohio driver's license; CDL preferred.

Competenze

• Some experience in performing semi-skilled maintenance or construction tasks.
• At least two years of experience in tree maintenance, landscaping, or lawn care preferred if working in the Parks department.
• High school diploma or GED preferred, or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

Mansioni

• Perform semi-skilled maintenance, construction, landscaping, and lawn care tasks in City parks and facilities.
• Assist in repairs of park properties including pavilions, fences, fields, and playground structures.
• Maintain City facilities: mowing, turf maintenance, litter pickup, trail maintenance and ball field prep.
• Assist in snow removal in parks and municipal areas.
• Operate equipment and vehicles as assigned and assist tradesmen when specialized skills are not required.
• Report unsafe conditions and maintain regular attendance.
