Job summary

The City of Beavercreek is seeking a Public Service Division worker to perform semi-skilled maintenance of streets, parks, cemeteries, facilities, and vehicles. You will operate a wide range of equipment and assist in set-up of work zones and events.

You must have high school diploma or equivalent with maintenance experience, and hold an Ohio driver license (CDL with airbrake/tanker endorsements required within 3 months).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with some maintenance experience.
• Ability to meet Operator I core training requirements within policy timelines.
• Must maintain a valid Ohio Driver License and (for CDL) airbrake and tanker endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of vehicles and equipment for streets, parks, cemeteries, and facilities maintenance.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs across city properties and roads.
• Set up work zones and manage road closures.
• Direct activities of part-time, seasonal, and volunteer personnel.
• Keep records and complete reports and checklists.
