City of Shoreline is seeking a Public Works Maintenance Worker II to maintain and repair streets and surface water facilities within the Street & Surface Water Division. You will operate a range of city equipment and assist in construction and maintenance projects to keep multimodal infrastructure safe and functional.

Working under supervision with opportunities to lead Maintenance Worker IIs, the role requires a Class A CDL, First Aid/CPR, and Washington State Flagger Certification, with

Qualifications

• Three years responsible public works maintenance experience.
• Equivalent to high school completion (12th grade).
• Possession of a valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL).
• Valid First Aid/CPR certificate.
• Current Washington State Flagger Certification.

Responsabilités

• Inspect, maintain, and repair streets and surface water facilities to ensure safety and accessibility.
• Operate trucks, sweepers, and other equipment following safety standards and city policies.
• Install and maintain traffic control devices in accordance with MUTCD guidance.
• Record work orders, inspect assets, and assist in project planning and execution.
• Attend safety meetings and adhere to OSHA regulations; respond to emergencies as needed.
