Job summary

Minnesota City Jobs is seeking a Public Works Lead Maintenance Worker in Minnesota. Under the Public Works Director, you will supervise and mentor maintenance staff, oversee street and park maintenance, and manage operation, maintenance, and repair of city utilities including sanitary sewer, municipal water, and storm sewer.

The position is designed to develop leadership potential with possible future progression to the Director role.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a MN CDL w/air brakes, a Class C or D drinking water treatment license, a sanitary sewer collections license, and progressively responsible experience in Public Works.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and mentors Public Works maintenance workers.
• Participates in the maintenance of City streets and parks.
• Performs the operation, maintenance, and repair of city utilities including sanitary sewer, municipal water, and storm sewer; and performs other duties as assigned by the Director.
