Job summary

Town of Mount Pleasant is seeking an Infrastructure Foreman to supervise crews in the construction, repair, and maintenance of streets and drainage systems. You will coordinate work, inspect sites, manage materials and equipment, and ensure projects meet schedules and budgets.

The role requires strong leadership, safety discipline, and the ability to interact with the public. A valid SC CDL is required; occasional field training and on-site decisions are part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five (5) years of prior work experience.
• Valid South Carolina Driver's License.
• Commercial Driver's License required.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and assigns workers to projects.
• Inspects work areas and determines materials and equipment.
• Establishes or adjusts procedures to meet schedules.
• Orders supplies as necessary.
• Makes inspections and monitors progress and budget.
• Conducts training on safe operation of vehicles and equipment.
• Enforces OSHA regulations and safety procedures.
• Maintains trucks and equipment; oversees routine maintenance.
• Performs data entry and uses department software to track work orders.
• Represents the Town and interacts with the public daily.
