Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or GED equivalent.
• Minimum five years of experience relating to construction, repair and maintenance of water, sewer, street, or storm drainage systems including operation of related maintenance equipment.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience or 3 years assisting a supervisor/department head.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned personnel and equipment; oversee ground workers or temporary staff as needed.
• Plan, construct, operate, repair, maintain, and replace city streets, recreation, parks, buildings, grounds, and storm drainage facilities and systems.
• Coordinate work across crews and ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
