Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience inspecting public/private construction projects.
• Ability to enforce permits and communicate with contractors, engineers and supervisors.
• Proficiency with Excel and Word for reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Inspect routine construction projects and review material sampling for conformance to plans and specs.
• Maintain accurate project records including progress, quality, and non-conforming work.
• Coordinate meetings with developers, engineers and citizens on project issues; prepare written correspondence.
