Job summary

City of Pasco is hiring an Engineering Technician II to support capital improvement and public works projects on-site. You will assist with design, drafting, field investigations, inspection, data collection and contract administration under supervision.

Ideal candidates have 2 years of progressively responsible civil engineering or construction inspection experience, strong CADD and GIS skills, and the ability to work independently and with teams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in civil engineering or closely related field.
• Two years of progressively responsible civil eng, construction inspection, or related field.
• Valid Washington State driver license.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CADD, and GIS applications.
• Strong communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design, drafting, field investigations, inspection, data collection and contract administration.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers and inspectors to ensure timely, cost-effective project execution.
• Maintain project documentation and quality records.
