Job summary

Pump Systems Matter is seeking an Assistant/Associate Engineer to participate in the design, permitting, bidding, and award of the City’s Capital Improvement Program projects, including roadways, bridges, and drainage systems.

Candidates should have civil engineering expertise, knowledge of project development principles, and familiarity with federal and state funding requirements. Strong collaboration across departments and a commitment to public infrastructure excellence are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil engineering functions and project development principles.
• Knowledge of federal and state funding requirements and applicable laws.
• Experience with public works infrastructure projects and coordination with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee CIP projects from planning through award.
• Coordinate permitting, bidding, and award processes.
